About Us
The Philippine Society of Soil Science and Technology, (PSSST) Inc. is a duly recognized professional organization in the Philippines which was established in October 1997 and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a non-stock, non-profit professional scientific organization It has nationwide membership devoted to the following objectives:

To promote the advancement of soil science and technology in the Philippines;

To mobilize and encourage soil scientists and technologists of the country to share their knowledge in the development and conservation of Philippine soils;

To serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas and knowledge among soil scientists, technologists, and planners; and
-
To establish formal and non–formal information linkages with other similar organizations and institutions, locally and abroad.
The Society is composed of members from various government agencies (i.e. DOST, DA, DENR), local government units, state colleges and universities, private agencies, non-government organizations and international institutions.
