     The PSSST Career Orientation Program is designed to introduce students, young professionals, and aspiring soil scientists to the diverse career opportunities in soil science and related fields. This initiative provides valuable insights into career pathways, industry trends, and professional growth in research, academia, government, and the private sector.

       Encourage students to major in Soil Science, where our soil scientists and technologists share their knowledge regarding the many opportunities ahead, in the development and conservation of Philippine Soils.

      The PSSST Thesis Grant supports undergraduate students conducting research in soil science and related fields by providing financial assistance for research materials, fieldwork, and laboratory analysis. Recipients benefit from mentorship by experienced soil scientists, opportunities to present their findings at PSSST conferences, and networking with professionals in the field.

 

     Through this initiative, PSSST aims to foster innovative research that contributes to sustainable soil management, environmental conservation, and agricultural development in the Philippines.
